Gift is not a verb

Gift is not a verb, or is it? I hate it when I get distraced in meetings by buzzwords or just weird words that Project Managers use sometimes. My least favorite phrase is "bake that in". You're making software, not a fucking cake. Yesterday someone wrote "ITB" on the board, which on IRC and IM means "in the butt". I laughed, then caught my composure. Later someone said "Soup to nuts". I wanted to ask if that was like "BOC", or "balls on chin". Is task a verb? They said to gift and to task in the same meeting. Maybe I'm wrong. I am getting tired of reading "reek" havoc everywhere. . . .

I should re-read Angie's and/or Derek's blog.
