Chaine d'Or and Twist Sunday

andre-paul-chaine Ahh, another goofy wine post. I can almost anticipate the snarky comments from some of you. . . .

What a day to forget our cameras. Unlike today, Sunday was a beautiful and sunny day in the Bay Area. Cory, Andre, Christina and I hauled our butts along with 10 other people up to the Santa Cruz mountains to do some wine tasting organized by Paul.

We started the day off by meeting up at Ridge and tasted some of their wines and checked out the view. After that we went around to the other side of the hill (I think) and did a tasting at Cooper Garrod.

I really enjoyed the day. I've never been down to any of the Santa Cruz Mountain wineries, yet I've been enjoying their wines for a long time. In the past,

More 'Quakes

I'm still on the Quakes/MLS email list and have been getting update about them returning to SJ. Today's email was a link to a "funny" site: Cure Futbolitis.

According to their last marketing email, the Quakes will be playing the majority of their games at Buck Shaw (in Santa Clara). Hopefully they will release something soon that counters the previous rumor I had heard about them playing a lot of games up in Sacto.

Oh, and Yallop will be back as coach- that's good news. He had a bum rap down in LA. Maybe he can get some of the Houston players to come back too.
