I'm a bit disappointed
My dad mentioned something to me when I was in SA and completely forgot about it until now.
He said that SA Express News readers voted the Olive Garden as the best Italian restaurant in San Antonio. Are you f$*%ing kidding me? I thought he was joking, or hoped rather. But nope, here's the reader's survey There are so many things wrong with the selections. Uggh. I'm a bit disappointed.13 Oct 16:43 | /food_and_drink | 4 comment(s)

it's like people who eat at pomodoro in the castro when there's an awesome mom&pop place a block away. drives me bananas. maybe SA folks just like the bottomless pasta bowl.

typical
Typical newspaper survey, we have the same type of "surveys" here in cincinnati with essentially the same answers. Everyone knows there are better places to eat, but they rarely get the media attention they deserve.

Reason #459,890 why you live in SF: it's a mecca for food snobs. Which isn't an insult since I categorize myself as one.

It's a readers poll, what did you expect? The first two categories tell you the caliber of respondent with Chester's as number two in both non-chain and chain burgers.
