Italy v France
The only way to get Cory and Marc to watch soccer is to have more action like this:
Before the game I had planned a long rant about the worst thing about Italy being Italy fans. But I'm too mad to do even that. They won the game, and dare I say. . . deserved (?!) to win -especially after that asshead Zidane headbutted whatshisface. Maybe I'll write it anyway at some point. Uggh. What an annoying final. France's first goal was off a phantom penalty. (Italy wouldn't have been there either except for a phantom penalty off Australia). Italy's set-piece header was good though. Too bad Zidick's header later missed.
Oh, and why was the ref always in the way of the play action? Aren't they supposed to run zig-zags from opposite corners to stay out of the way, but still be able to see? The ref looked like a midfielder to me at times. . . .
Now I gotta put up with all the buttheads who suddenly became Italy fans (not real Italians btw but American "(psuedo)Italian" slash Italy fans) in the past two weeks and are dusting off their Bianchis and getting out their Italia '90 Tshirts. And we all know people like that- I don't want to name names but I can think of two of [name-erased]'s friends in particular- These are the people who don't know that the dude's LAST name isn't Lucatoni. It's his full name- Luca Toni. It's not CARNIVALO, it's Cannavaro, etc. I could go on . . . but I'll stop. Like I said, Italy deserved to win.
Speaking of Carnival, if you ever want to have an obscure drinking game- Edgar and I made one up- whenever Macelo Balboa says "TOTti", drink. If you really want to be obscure, whenever Totti comes on the screen, spit on someone, or in your drink or in Marcelo Balboa's Kool Aid.
Okay, enough rambling about soccer. I just want to end on a positive note(s)- Deutschland?! Who knew? Good job Juergen. In spanish, Ghana is a misnomer. Zidane's always been a dick. Well, that's not positive but I can back it up. Oh, and my dad may have been right in how he picks teams, the ones with better food win (in his bracket at least). Although, that doesn't explain how England even made it into the tournament, or Germany made it so far . . .

you're so right... if they made head butting legal, the game might actually be worth watching. I have decided, however, that soccer's even better than baseball for inducing naps...

re bianchis
I meant people who suddenly buy bianchis, not old riders. . .
