Mystic River - ***

Yeah, so I'm behind in my movie updates, so I'll keep this short.

Mystic River, not bad, but not great. A bit overrated? Yup. The best performances evar?!?! Nope. Good performances all around? Yup. Should you rent it? Yup. Will you gain a new appreciation for current American Cinema? Nope. Is this movie uplifting? Nope, quite the opposite. Are there boobies? Nope. Go rent it, but try to forget how oversold this movie was.
